a thing that will forever amuse me is the movie fandom’s depiction of the relationship between gandalf and pippin. like “haha old man is annoyed by younger man” is funny on its own but what most of them don’t know is:
gandalf is an entity, an angelic being taking up human form who is older than time itself. pippin ‘i exist to spite god’ took is like 17. this is a teenager constantly fucking up an ancient being.
pippin is the biggest minor inconvenience in gandalf’s life.

Hey Friends, long time no see. I’ve been pretty busy with college and I’ve been trying to limit the time I spend scrolling through social media, so that’s why I kind of dropped Gandalf. I still love the old wizard to death though, so I’m considering making a discord server for LOTR based roleplaying for anyone who would be interested (because I can be more responsive on that, and for shorter responses - also down to play my Hatter and my OC turned D&D character Laegwen). I’m not sure how many of my RP followers are still active, but please let me know if you’d be interested in something like this, and please spread it to anyone else you think might like it!
